April 29, 2024 On a Break from the Loop
April 30, 2024: What's Been Going On! After leaving Slàinte Mhath at the Palm Coast Marina we visited with Grammy and Pa and Kat and Marc for 3 weeks. The weather wasn't as warm as we would have liked but better than snow. On Feb 14th Seth flew in to visit for a week. We had a wonderful time and his grandparents were happy to see him. We spent one day in St. Augustine, touring the historic city by trolley. I would recommend the trolley tour to anyone. You can get off and on wherever you want to check out sites of interest. One of our favorites was the Pirate stop and treasure hunt. We enjoyed the Castillo de San Marcos fort, especially for the views it offered of the ICW. Of course we stopped for lunch at the St. Augustine Seafood Company, a restaurante we have dined at before. Ice cream cones were also enjoyed by all!
